Ski the Slopes, Ride the Park:

Big Bear Lake is home to Southern California's two premier ski resorts. Snow Summit is the place for everyday skiers and riders in search of a friendly laid back winter playground. "The Park" at Bear Mountain known as an "All Mountain Terrain Freestyle Park" attracts every level from first-time snowboarders and skiers to freestyle enthusiasts. It's the only mountain resort in the United States devoted almost entirely to a freestyle terrain. Both resorts set themselves apart from other Southern California's ski areas because of their quality snowmaking and slope grooming.

Ski & Snowboard "Lift & Lodging" Packages:

Here's a little tip to save money on your favorite winter sport. Take advantage of midweek and weekend lift and lodging packages starting as low as $69 per person, per night, based on double occupancy. You'll save money and enjoy skiing and snowboarding. Real Snow, Real Close, Real Deals. Restrictions may apply.

Inner Tubing Family Fun:

Children who visit Big Bear Lake can experience the thrill of inner tubing down snow packed slopes, which are specifically designed for good times. Parents too, can relive their youthful days and glide down the smooth vertical incline for a fun-filled ride. Tubing is the ultimate outdoor family outing that creates memories that last a lifetime.

Snowshoe Trips:

This is a great way to escape the crowds and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the natural winter wonderland. Tours are available at Big Bear Discovery Center or rent your own shoes at various sporting goods stores.

Off Road Adventure:

Another great way to see nature at its best is an off road expedition. Enjoy some of the Valley's most scenic views on sightseeing tours or you can take your own four wheel drive into the backwoods.

Horseback Riding:

Horse riding trails are a "mane" attraction. Tours, rentals and guide service are available. Saddle up and enjoy a ride into the great wide open.

A Frosty Good Time:

Of course Big Bear's winter wonderland would not be complete without a few snowmen and snow angels. Visitors enjoy playing in the snow and creating snowmen with personality. It's compelling to see the collection of different snowmen and snow angels on display throughout Big Bear valley, as if they were greeting incoming visitors to the snow-covered paradise.
